XXIV All India Railway Body Building Championship 2010

When a fan decides to watch the best body building champions the country has to offer, he or she invariably has to sit among audience at either the Inter-Railway Body Building Championship or the Mr. Services competition.
These are the events where the best National-level body builders flex muscle in their respective weight categories. Often, they try to compete in their best shape of their lives as these persons have been given government jobs in sports quota and, obviously, should win laurels for their office.
The XXIV All India Railway Body Building Championship was conducted by South Eastern Railway Sports Association, Chakradharpur Division, between March 16 and 18.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, I could neither make it to that event nor the Mr. Services competition held in Hyderabad.
I sincerely thank M. Arasu, Mr. India and General     Secretary of Tamil Nadu Amateur Body Building Association, for furnishing the results of the railway championship. I also thank three-time Mr. India Jayaprakash for sending me backstage pictures of his.

Jayaprakash's most muscular

I have also requested for photographs of other competitors. I will post those pictures if I am lucky enough to get any.

Jayaprakash's double biceps - look at those quads!

The prestigious Team Championship trophy went to South Eastern Railway.

Jayaprakash's front lat spread - "lights out, game over baby!"

  1. Do you have services result by any chance.. mate?
    did Kamaraj get selected?

  2. takeupsculpting Says:

    My friend,
if I had them, they would be on this blog.
I have spoken to a senior competitor and well-wisher of mine (who was in Services) to get me the photos and result.
He has promised me to get them.
Our team member spoke to Kamaraj on March 30. It seems the big man sustained an injury and could not peak for the show.
He too has said that he would try to get us some pictures.
We are still waiting for pictures of a national-level competition held in 2008, couple of State-meets held in 2009 and 2010, and then some more!
As all our team members have full-time jobs, we are unable to visit every major show and take pictures ourselves.

  3. The reason why i visit your blog is only for the passion that you people show to the sport.

When is the BIGLEE stepping on stage next?
When is murtuza stepping on stage next?

  7. takeupsculpting Says:

my dear friend, there is a three-day routine on this blog along with some diet tips. Start with it.
After two or three months, start training every body part twice a week, working out totally four days a week.
At that point of time, perform ONLY two exercises for bigger muscles like chest, back and legs (Eg: Bench press & Incline press for chest; Squats and Leg Press for thighs; Chinning and Barbell row for back). Perform two exercises for shoulders and triceps (Eg: Military press and Bent over latersls for delts; Close grip bench press and Lying barbell extension for triceps). For biceps, do Biceps chinning or Barbell curls. On all exercises do only 4 sets using Pyramid technique.
    You will see good results.
    Good Luck.

    respected sir
I am noushad nw am studying bsc in mangalur 2 times i have champan of mangalur central in college lavel i have trained v .m basheer master in 2008 i have intrested goining southern rail way what can i do

  9. takeupsculpting Says:

Dear Noushad, to get a job in Railways, you should win gold or silver medals in Senior Nationals or Junior Nationals. Gold medal in Federation Cup Nationals will also be considered for appointment. Some of my friends have said that if a person wins gold medal in all-India university nationals, he can get a job.
However, there is some age limit for all that.
I would say you should meet Mr. Basheer and talk to him about how to go ahead. I am sure he will help you out.
Do convey my regards to him.
    Lakshmi
